Prof. José Luis Verdegay
José Luis Verdegay is Professor Emeritus at the University of Granada (UGR), Spain, where he served as Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from 1990. He has been a member of the Working Group on Optimization and Decision Models since its creation in 2000, serving as its director until 2025. His research career focuses on Computational Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, particularly decision-making and optimization in fuzzy environments, with applications to real-world problems such as route design, fuzzy controllers, automated consensus systems and bankruptcy prediction. He has led more than 50 national and international research projects, published 29 books and over 500 scientific papers, and supervised 22 PhD theses. According to Stanford University’s 2025 World Ranking of Scientists, he ranks among the top 2% of the world’s most influential researchers. He has held numerous management positions at UGR, including Vice-Rector for ICT (2008–2015) and Director of the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (1990-1993 and 2023). He has also served in organizations such as CICyT, ANEP, ANECA, and European programs like TEMPUS. From 2015 to 2023, he was Regional Director of the Ibero-American Postgraduate University Association (AUIP). His distinctions include the Gold Medal of the Iranian Society of Operations Research and the “Granada City of Science” Award in Artificial Intelligence. He is Doctor Honoris Causa from the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas (Cuba), a corresponding member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, distinguished researcher at the International Institute for Research in Artificial Intelligence at Hebei University of International Studies (China), Fellow of IFSA and IEEE Senior Member. Currently, his research focuses on reliable and explainable AI applied to automated decision systems for social welfare and Sustainable Development Goals.

I’m Dr.G. Vetrivel, working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, India. I have completed my undergraduate and postgraduate in Mathematics at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. From Bharathiar University, I got my Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. Stepping into the research, I have graduated my M.Phil and PhD from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. I taught the subjects like probability and statistics, Matrices and Calculus, ODE and Transform techniques, Discrete Mathematics etc. My area of interest is Neutrosophic Graph Theory and its application on real-world problems. I have published more research articles in reputed Scopus journals and also got research awards like InRes Young Achiever 2024, InRes Young Researcher 2024, MMU International Article Writing Competition awards in 2023 to 2025, International Best Researcher Award 2026, Asia research awards. Also, I got memberships in some scientific societies like IAENG, Institute of Researchers (InRes), Kerela, International Society of Fuzzy Set Extensions and Applications (ISFSEA), Global Open Share Publishing, Kerela Mathematical Association. Recently, I acted as the resource person for an online FDP conducted by NIET, Noida. I’m in the reviewer and editorial board of some journals. I have passed 6 NPTEL Maths Online Courses which was conducted by various IIT’s of India.
Julia Navarro
Ms. Julia was Born and educated in Germany, Julia holds a First-Class BSc in Mathematics from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Nottingham Trent University, focusing on building and training equivariant neural networks with applications to soft matter physics.
Prof T Kishore Kumar
Dr. T. Kishore Kumar, Professor, Department of ECE, NIT Warangal received B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.Tech in Digital Systems and Computer Electronics from Sri Venkateswara University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in the years 1992 and 1996 respectively. He obtained Ph.D. degree in the area of signal processing in the year 2004. With his unflinching commitment and ardent passion towards teaching, Dr. T. Kishore Kumar Headed the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, NIT Warangal during March 2015 to November 2017. Currently he is the Professor at Dept. of ECE, NIT Warangal. He was the head of the Institute Computer Center, NIT Warangal from 2018 to 2020. He was the Visiting Professor for Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok during August - December, 2019 under Secondment of Indian Faculty by MHRD, Govt. of India. Prior to this, he was selected for Cabinet Secretariat, Prime Minister Office, and Government of India as Technical officer (Tele). He is a member for Central Council Board (CCB), AIEEE during 2009-10 and Member of E & ICT Academy, NIT Warangal during 2015-17. Presently, he is a member of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). He was awarded RESEARCH EXCELLENCE AWARD - 2017 by Institute for Exploring Advances in Engineering (IEAE) for his research work titled “An iterative posterior NMF method for speech enhancement in the presence of additive Gaussian noise” published in Neuro Computing (March 2017) and BEST ENGINEERING RESEARCHER AWARD – 2017 by NIT Warangal and NITW Alumni Association in recognition of his outstanding research, consultancy and training in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering. He has been recently deputed as member of review committee by Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India for reviewing the project “Design and Development of Digital Signal Processor for Extended Range MMW Seeker” of RCI, DRDO. Dr. T. Kishore Kumar has contributed substantially to the qualitative research endeavors in the department. His current areas of research include “signal processing and speech processing”. He has completed two DRDO projects worth 18 Lakhs and one MHRD, NMEICT pedagogy project worth 7 lakhs. He has completed two major research projects sponsored by SERB worth 41.92 Lakhs. Besides this, he also has two SERB projects worth 47 Lakhs and 25 Lakhs as co-investigator. To add another feather in his cap, he has the credit of receiving two research projects worth of 50 lakhs sponsored by SERB(CRG) and DRDO in year 2021-22. Over the past decade and half, he has taught several courses at UG and PG levels at NIT Warangal. Under his amiable guidance eleven scholars have been awarded PhDs and Three scholars has submitted the thesis. At present four PhDs are guided by him. He has also guided over 50 M.Tech and 50 B.Tech students. He has published 36 international journals and 39 international conferences during the last five years. Dr. T. Kishore Kumar has travelled across many countries like, Czech Republic, France, Israel, Singapore, Dubai, Estonia that contributed to his academic excellence during his academic and administrative career spanning over two decades. He has organized several Faculty Development programs in the domains of “Signal Processing”, “Speech Processing” and “Real Time Embedded Systems” at NIT Warangal and outside. He has coordinated MHRD initiated GIAN course in 2016. He has delivered several Guest Lectures at DRDO, ECIL, JNTUH and other institutes of repute in AP, Telangana and Maharashtra. Dr. Kishore Kumar is the member of IEEE, ISTE, IETE and Senior Member of IACSIT. He is the Member for Board of Studies in NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, JNTU Hyderabad, and S V University. He is also a PhD examiner for NITs and several other Universities across the country.
